Mine is rooted in a childhood growing up on my family’s generational farm just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Being raised among the historic houses with family that cared for and embraced them, I discovered what it means to me – a warmth, an excitement, a welcome – that eventually led to a passion to craft a sense of home for others. Listening to what clients say, and often what they don’t say, gives an insight into how they live their lives and what they call home. This understanding of the unique values of our clients mixed with a helpful dose of imagination guides us to design a wide variety of homes particularly suited for their place and the clients who live in them, from the classic to more contemporary.  Recalling my childhood, I continue to find joy in the beauty, authenticity, craft, and design of houses, and it motivates me every day to be part of giving an experience of home to others.”
